سازگاری usb2 و usb3 - ایا usb2 روی usb3 کار میکند ؟ آیا محصولاتی usb3 روی پورت usb2 کار میکند ؟
Do USB 3 devices work with USB 2.0 ports - and vice versa?

Planning to purchase a new scanner and external HDD soon and been wondering that if I now go with USB3 products, do they work with my current PC that has only USB 2.0 ports available?

Furthermore, will my current USB 2.0 products (mouse, another external hard drive, etc) work in future when I upgrade to a PC that has only USB 3 ports available?



USB 3.0 devices can connect to USB 2.0 port but obviously you will not get USB 3.0 speeds, youll get a msg stating to connect to a faster port just like you do when connecting a 2.0 device to a 1.1 port.

As for 2.0 USB devices on 3.0 ports, that will work as well except you will not get 3.0 speeds on 2.0 connections. The connections are the same except 3.0 connections have twice as many connectors inside the plug which is what provides the faster speeds .
